Deadly Carnage Inks Deal with Willowtip Records for Epic Witchcraft Concept Album

Italian post-black metal visionaries Deadly Carnage have officially signed with Willowtip Records, marking a bold new chapter for the Rimini-based quartet. Known for their atmospheric evolution over two decades—from raw black metal roots to the haunting, shoegaze-tinged majesty of 2023’s Endless Blue—the band is now crafting their most ambitious work yet: a concept album centered on witchcraft and witch hunts.

Formed in 2005 by Adres (bass) and Marco (drums), Deadly Carnage have spent years refining their sound, blending doom, post-rock, and post-metal into a crepuscular tapestry. Endless Blue earned widespread acclaim, with Angry Metal Guy calling it “beautiful, compelling, and unique,” and now the band is poised to push further. Their Willowtip debut, in the works for nearly two years, revisits themes from their 2008 album Decadenza, closing a 20-year creative circle.

The untitled album dives into the dark history of witchcraft and witch hunts, a subject the band holds dear. “This time we go back to the end of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, exploring collective fears that condemned countless innocents,” they shared. “It’s not a historical analysis but an intimate tale of loss and growth through a female protagonist’s journey into ancient practices and lost knowledge.” Promising a deeply personal narrative, Deadly Carnage are pouring everything into this release, with more details to come.

With Alexios (vocals, guitars), Dave (guitars), Adres, and Marco at the helm, the band’s signature light-and-shadow soundscapes are set to evolve once again. Stay tuned—this is one spellbinding story you won’t want to miss.
