British extreme power metal band DragonForce has premiered a new music video for an alternate version of their track “Burning Heart,” featuring Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz, via Napalm Records. Originally a bonus track on select editions of their 2024 album Warp Speed Warriors, this duet version highlights White-Gluz’s versatile vocals alongside Marc Hudson’s, blending her clean and harsh styles with DragonForce’s signature high-speed riffs and solos. The video, directed by an uncredited filmmaker, complements the song’s epic anthem vibe with dynamic visuals. Guitarist Herman Li stated, “I believe ‘Burning Heart’ is the perfect song for Alissa to showcase her remarkable vocal range and her stunning performance has elevated the song to another level.”

Warp Speed Warriors, released March 15, 2024, via Napalm Records, features the original “Burning Heart” and this duet on the Special Edition, alongside other bonus tracks like “Doomsday Party” (feat. Elize Ryd) and “Astro Warrior Anthem” (feat. Matthew K. Heafy and Nita Strauss). The album, their ninth, marks their shortest at 49 minutes and 7 seconds, and the first with bassist Alicia Vigil. DragonForce—Herman Li (guitar), Sam Totman (guitar), Marc Hudson (vocals), Vigil (bass), and Gee Anzalone (drums)—kicks off the final European leg of their Warp Speed Warriors tour tomorrow, June 6, at Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden, with dates including Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium, on June 21, and select shows with Powerwolf, such as June 10 in Toulouse, France.
Formed in 1999, the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling band, known for hits like “Through the Fire and Flames,” has toured with major acts like Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Nightwish across their 25-year career, solidifying their status as “the world’s fastest band.”
