EchoSoul Drops Sophomore Album Time of the Dragon on May 15

Fort Wayne, IN’s progressive/power metal outfit EchoSoul is gearing up to release their second album, Time of the Dragon, on May 15, 2025, via No Dust Records. Following their acclaimed 2020 debut The End of Darkness, the band—led by guitarist/songwriter Guy Hinton, with Rob Lundgren (vocals), Randy Walton (bass), and Tyler Witte (drums)—promises a heavier, more melodic evolution. Guest musicians include Andy LaRoque (King Diamond) on “Hollowed Ground,” Giampiero Presilli on “Sister Suicide,” and Brady Gladieux on “Die Demon Die.”

The album blends intricate solos, and catchy choruses, fusing power and prog metal. Singles “Die Demon Die,” “Hollowed Ground,” “Sister Suicide,” and “The Path of the Righteous” are streaming now on Spotify, with lyric videos available. A Bandcamp listening party is set for May 13 at 7:00 PM CST—RSVP here.

Hinton notes the album’s deeper writing process, citing challenges like the Ukraine war delaying production. Pre-order at echosoulmusic.bandcamp.com.
