Long Island, New York-based thrash metal trio Electrocutioner, formed in 2018, has announced their sophomore album, Harbinger, set for release on September 5, 2025, via CDN Records.
The band, featuring Mark Pursino (guitar, vocals, synth), Rich Nieves (bass), and Tyler Bogliole (drums), delivers a high-octane blend of old-school thrash inspired by Whiplash, Slayer, and Exorcist, infused with cinematic horror themes and synth interludes. Following their 2023 debut False Idols, Harbinger offers 12 tracks of precise, riff-driven songwriting with gang-chant choruses and abrasive hooks, as noted by Vampster for its “catchy songwriting”. Recorded at Pursino’s home studio, the album maintains a raw, DIY edge.
