Rock legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Hughes, known as the “Voice of Rock,” has released his new single Voice In My Head from his upcoming 14th solo album Chosen, set for release on September 5, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. The track, accompanied by a lyric video, is available to stream and watch at:
Hughes describes the song as a therapeutic exploration of his subconscious, stating, “‘Voice In My Head’ tells the story of what’s goin’ on in my subconscious mind. It’s a song that most definitely needed to be written. Very therapeutic. We all have ‘this voice.’ Observe, recognize and be a witness, & let go…”.

The single, part of the hard-hitting Chosen album, showcases Hughes’ signature blend of hard rock, soul, and funk, with his iconic vocals at the forefront. Produced by longtime collaborator Soren Andersen, Voice In My Head is the second single following the title track Chosen, released on June 6, 2025. Hughes, joined by Andersen (guitar), Ash Sheehan (drums), and Bob Fridzema (keys), will support the album with The Chosen Years Tour, starting September 2, 2025, in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, and ending November 29, 2025, in Bogota, Colombia.
