Hungarian melodic death metal band Grymheart has unveiled their latest stand-alone single, The Dark Rider, accompanied by a brand new video.
Following the success of their 2023 debut album Hellish Hunt (Scarlet Records), Grymheart return with a fierce new track inspired by Irish folklore. The Dark Rider tells the tale of the Dullahan, a headless horseman figure who serves as an unstoppable force and symbol of Death. The band’s blend of blistering melodic death metal and haunting folk elements mirrors the inevitability, fear, and mystery of mortality itself.
The official video, directed by Ygor with Krisztina Máte, pairs the song’s mythic atmosphere with striking visuals to capture the spirit of the legendary Dark Rider.
Currently, Grymheart are at work on their sophomore album, slated for release in early 2026.
