Portland, Oregon dark rock trio HOAXED have unveiled a new music video for “Kill Switch”, the latest single from their forthcoming sophomore album Death Knocks, due February 13, 2026 via Relapse Records.

The video was filmed live at Snake Farm in Portland on January 17 and was created and produced by the band, with direction from Jason Sotomayor. Raw and communal in spirit, the clip captures HOAXED’s growing momentum and the scene-driven energy behind the record.

The band comments:

“The world’s been heavy lately, so pulling people together for this project felt right. Friends filmed it, drinks fueled it, and the resulting video speaks for itself. It’s the scene showing up and supporting each other.”

Three years in the making, Death Knocks marks a major evolution for HOAXED, now featuring vocalist/guitarist Kat Keo, drummer Kim Coffel, and new bassist/vocalist April Dimmick. The album blends witchy atmosphere, heavy metal grit, and dark pop melody, driven by cyclical riffs, bottom-heavy bass, and Keo’s spellbinding vocal hooks—often contrasted by Dimmick’s raspy edge.

Recorded at Falcon Recording Studios with producer Gabe Johnston (Unto Others, Vintersea) and mixed/mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Kreator), Death Knocks delivers a polished yet feral sound that matches the band’s cinematic gloom.

HOAXED also kick off a run of Pacific Northwest release shows next week.

Death Knocks arrives February 13 via Relapse Records.
