Icelandic black metal band FORSMÁN have announced the release of their debut full-length album, Brenndar Rústir & Fuðrandi Fjörur, set for release on June 26, 2026 via Vesperian in collaboration with Metal Blade Records worldwide.
To mark the announcement, the band has unveiled the album’s opening track, “Drottinn Fyrirgefur Allt,” alongside an official visualizer video.
“Drottinn Fyrirgefur Allt” immediately establishes the album’s punishing tone with a blend of vicious riffing, icy atmosphere, and dynamic songwriting. While rooted firmly in the modern Icelandic black metal tradition associated with acts like Svartidauði, Sinmara, and Misþyrming, FORSMÁN already display a distinct identity through intricate arrangements and forward-driving compositions.
The album artwork was created by acclaimed illustrator Paolo Girardi, known for his work with Power Trip, Revocation, and Sulphur Aeon.
