Jerry Cantrell Announces New U.S. Tour Dates for I Want Blood, Including Two Florida Stops

Jerry Cantrell, whose acclaimed album I Want Blood dropped late last year, has announced a new U.S. tour leg starting August 16, 2025, in San Diego at The Observatory North Park. The four-week run, with Filter joining as support, includes two Florida dates: August 26 in St. Petersburg at Jannus Live and August 27 in Orlando at House of Blues. Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 22, at 10 a.m. local time, with VIP and upgraded bundles available at jerrycantrell.com/tour.

I Want Blood highlights Cantrell’s raw intensity, merging brooding melodies, searing guitar riffs, and introspective lyrics. The album has earned widespread praise, with the Los Angeles Times noting its “heavy, nuanced songs,” Kerrang! calling it a “thunderous solo album,” and Revolver describing it as delivering “weighty, slippery riffs” and “memorable rock hooks” reminiscent of his Alice in Chains legacy. It’s available on CD, digital platforms, and multiple 2LP vinyl variants, with a deluxe spoken-word edition featuring narration by Cantrell and contributions from producer Joe Barresi, Greg Puciato, and others. An animated video series by Boy Tillekens accompanies the release.

The tour will also hit cities like Dallas (House of Blues, Aug 22), Minneapolis (Uptown, Sep 12), and wraps September 14 in Kansas City at Uptown Theater. Check the full dates and grab tickets at the link above.
