Judiciary continue to push their uncompromising take on metallic hardcore with “Death Knell,” the latest single from their forthcoming EP, Stalagmite Angels. The track arrives alongside a new music video filmed in the band’s home state of Texas.
Set for release on September 4, Stalagmite Angels finds the Lubbock-born band exploring anger, self-belief and the process of harnessing both as fuel for personal growth. The EP is built around the concept of a subterranean world, both literal and metaphorical, where beauty exists within the darkness and triumph comes through rising from the depths.
Musically, Judiciary draw from metallic hardcore, death metal, black metal and d-beat while maintaining the distinct identity that has defined their increasingly heavy and aggressive sound. “Death Knell” serves as the EP’s closing statement, delivering another punishing glimpse of what the band has prepared for the five-track release.
Stalagmite Angels features “Wall of Skulls,” “Sanguine Reality,” “Hymns of a Calcified Warpath,” “Soul Sutra” and “Death Knell.”
Judiciary will support the release with an extensive run of live dates. The band will hit the road with Killswitch Engage and Machine Head in September before heading to the UK and Europe for dates with Guilt Trip, Justice for the Damned and Long Goodbye. Additional North American touring is scheduled through November.
