Blackened war metal project KANONENFIEBER have unveiled the haunting new video for “Heizer Tenner”, taken from the upcoming compilation Soldatenschicksale, arriving tomorrow (February 6) via Century Media Records in cooperation with Noisebringer Records.

Directed by Mbience Visuals and Oliver König, the video accompanies one of the compilation’s most harrowing moments, portraying the brutal reality faced by stokers aboard the German light cruiser SMS Wiesbaden during the Battle of Jutland on May 31, 1916.
The band comments:
“‘Heizer Tenner’ depicts a world of heat, soot and detonating steel, in which every minute decides between life and death, from the perspective of the ship’s stokers working in the boiler and engine room of the light cruiser SMS Wiesbaden… The song gives voice to the extreme physical strain and inevitable fate of those who died buried deep in the ship as it sank in the early hours of June 1, 1916.”
Soldatenschicksale (“Soldiers’ Fates”) gathers revised versions of earlier tracks alongside two brand-new songs, continuing Kanonenfieber’s mission to commemorate the forgotten human stories behind wartime statistics. The compilation includes updated recordings of “Yankee Division”, “Der Füsilier”, and “U-Bootsmann”, as well as new material tied to the Battle of Skagerrak, the largest naval conflict of World War I.
Noise explains:
“When the gunpowder smoke clears from the battlefield, only the dead remain – who are no longer really considered people… This is exactly where Soldatenschicksale begins.”

KANONENFIEBER will embark on the Soldatenschicksale 2026 Tour in March with support from Mental Cruelty, including a sold-out Kanonenfest at Brose Arena Bamberg on March 27, featuring a First World War traveling museum and artwork exhibition by Daniel Bechthold.
KANONENFIEBER remains the solo vision of Noise, who writes and records all music while performing live with an anonymous lineup, echoing the concept of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The project was born from Noise translating his great-grandfather’s wartime diary, shaping Kanonenfieber into a memorial for the countless victims of war.
