Formed in 2018 in Northern Italy, Moonlight Haze—Chiara Tricarico (vocals), Marco Falanga (guitar), Alberto Melinato (guitar), Alessandro Jacobi (bass), and Giulio Capone (drums/keyboards)—has become a rising force in symphonic metal. “Awakening,” a 4:45 anthem, blends soaring melodies, intricate keyboards, and driving riffs, produced by Sascha Paeth, and explores themes of inner truth and renewal, aligning with Beyond’s narrative of a cosmic journey. Following singles “Tame the Storm” and “Chase the Light,” the album marks a polished evolution.
