New Jersey deathcore band NIGHTS OF MALICE have released their new single and music video, “Gore Nest”, taken from their upcoming full-length album Chaos Exordium, due June 4th via Bleeding Art Collective and Blood Blast Distribution (Nuclear Blast Records/Believe).

The band describes “Gore Nest” as one of the more energetic and unconventional moments on the record, blending their signature heavy sound with a more playful, bouncing intensity. Vocalist Brendan McGrath notes that the track still delivers the band’s crushing sonic identity while exploring a different kind of energy compared to the rest of the album. The accompanying video, directed by Eric DiCarlo of SquareUp Studios, leans into that chaotic spirit with a party-driven visual approach.
“Gore Nest” also continues McGrath’s ongoing inspiration from DOOM lore, focusing on the broader perspective of Hell’s invasion of Earth.
The track appears on Chaos Exordium, which follows previous single “Ex-Mortis” and represents what the band calls their most intense and riff-driven material to date. The album was produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Rivers of Nihil, The Ghost Inside), a long-time creative partnership that has helped shape the band’s sound over the past decade.
McGrath explains that the record came together organically once “Ex-Mortis” defined the sonic direction, allowing the band to refine and structure the album around their strongest ideas. The focus, he says, was to create the heaviest and most aggressive NIGHTS OF MALICE release yet, centered around dense riffing and high-intensity songwriting.
Chaos Exordium also features guest appearances from Bobby Yagodich of Verminoth on “Stitched” and Chaney Crabb of Entheos on “Riches To The Conjurer.”
