Chinese Mongolian progressive metal visionaries NINE TREASURES have released their brand-new single and video Until Now, taken from their forthcoming album Seeking The Absolute, out October 24th via Metal Blade Records.

Frontman/guitarist Askhan reflects on the track:
“The first riff of ‘Until Now’ came to life in early 2021, and it eventually became the opening chapter of this album. After releasing our last record, Wisdom Eyes, we kept writing, but nothing felt right. We didn’t want to repeat ourselves. We scrapped over twenty songs and started from scratch—it was a heavy moment. Then one morning, while playing the tovshuur, I stumbled on a sliding riff that just clicked. Midway through, the track breaks into a stream-of-consciousness improvisation, wild and free. Every time we perform it, it feels like riding a wave that just keeps rising and rolling.”
The track follows the band’s previously released single Real Dream (watch here) and offers another glimpse into Seeking The Absolute, their most ambitious and globally-reaching work to date.
