Reverya’s Affliction In Bloom: A Poetic Dive into Pain and Healing

Tampa’s progressive metal trio Reverya will release their debut album, Affliction In Bloom, on CD October 24th, 2025. Following their 2023 EP Melinoe, the band—Nadine (vocals/keys), Travis (guitars), and Kaleb (drums)—delivers a cinematic blend of ethereal melodies and heavy riffs. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Logan Clough, with artwork by Nadine, the album is a conceptual journey through human suffering.

Envisioned as a “conceptual garden,” each of the eight tracks represents a flower symbolizing resilience and grief. From the acoustic “Allium” to the tender “Magnolia,” the album, inspired by Spiritbox, Jinjer, and Evanescence, demands to be heard in full. “Wisteria” explores power’s toxic allure, while “Pyrophyte” rages against global strife. “Forget Me Not” aches with parental doubt, and “Dahlia” channels betrayal’s dark beauty. “Lily” bridges to “Asphodel,” a tribute to a loved one lost to illness, and “Magnolia” closes with a heartfelt ode to a grandmother.

More than music, Affliction In Bloom is a voyage through hurt and hope, paired with vivid music videos for “Wisteria” and “Dahlia.” With a tour planned for July 2025, Reverya is set to captivate live audiences. A must-listen for progressive metal fans.
