Ritual Fog and Chaos Relic Join Forces for a Devastating Split

This summer, Ritual Fog and Chaos Relic unite under the banner of Iron Fortress Records to deliver a four-track split. The release arrives digitally on August 26th with a limited cassette edition landing September 19th.

Hailing from Memphis, Ritual Fog drags listeners through a swamp of death, doom, and blackened sludge. Their side of the split features the new original track Enraptured, paired with a rendition of Rippikoulu’s cult classic The Lost Gods (Kadonneet Jumalat).

On the flipside, Jacksonville’s Chaos Relic summon the brutal legacy of Floridian death metal. Forged by members of Rhythm of Fear, Shades of War, and Mindfield, with alumni of Bodybox and Culture Killer, the band pummel through King to All (God of None) and Fate of Atropos, delivering a relentless closing strike to Side B.

The split was recorded in Tennessee and Florida with Matt Qualls and John Howard, mixed and mastered by Dan Lowndes and Howard respectively. With artwork by Darkside and logos designed by Form Terror Growth and Spearhead, the release embodies both the rot of tradition and the sharpened edge of modern extremity.
