ROB ZOMBIE is celebrating Halloween with the release of a new music video for “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman,” a track from his latest studio album, The Great Satan, available now through Nuclear Blast Records.
Released on October 30, the video arrives just ahead of Halloween, bringing Zombie’s signature combination of horror imagery, heavy riffs, and industrial-influenced grooves to the screen.
“Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” is the seventh track on The Great Satan, which was released earlier this year. The song also appeared as the B-side to Sheri Moon Zombie’s single “I Love My Robot,” issued as a limited-edition picture disc that has since sold out worldwide.
Featuring 15 tracks, The Great Satan marks a return to the musical approach associated with Zombie’s early solo career, particularly the horror-inspired sound of Hellbilly Deluxe. The album includes previously released singles such as “Punks And Demons,” “Heathen Days,” “(I’m A) Rock ‘N’ Roller,” “Tarantula,” and “Black Rat Coffin.”
Several tracks from the record have already received music videos, including “The Black Scorpion,” “F.T.W. 84,” and “Heathen Days.” The release of “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” continues the album’s visual presentation, combining Zombie’s musical and cinematic influences.
Before establishing his solo career, ROB ZOMBIE gained recognition as the frontman of WHITE ZOMBIE, whose fusion of heavy metal, groove-oriented riffs, and horror aesthetics helped define the band’s sound during the 1990s.
His solo career began with the release of Hellbilly Deluxe in 1998, followed by albums including The Sinister Urge and Educated Horses. His previous studio album, The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, arrived in 2021 and debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, marking his seventh consecutive solo album to enter the chart’s top ten.
Beyond music, Zombie has directed nine feature films, including House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, Halloween, and The Munsters. His work as a filmmaker has frequently intersected with the visual themes explored throughout his musical career.
With The Great Satan, ROB ZOMBIE continues to combine heavy music with horror-inspired storytelling, and the Halloween release of “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” adds another music video to the album’s growing collection.
