Greek progressive thrash metallers SACRAL RAGE have announced their highly anticipated third studio album, Ark Of Cosmic Resonance, scheduled for release on November 27, 2026, via No Remorse Records. The band has also unveiled the album’s first single, “Parallax Paradox,” accompanied by an official lyric video.
Known for their intricate compositions, technical precision, and science fiction-inspired storytelling, SACRAL RAGE return with what promises to be their most ambitious and expansive release to date.
A new chapter in progressive and technical metal
Formed in 2011, SACRAL RAGE quickly established themselves within the underground metal scene through their distinctive combination of late-’80s American heavy metal, early-’90s technical thrash, and progressive metal.
Drawing inspiration from legendary acts such as KING DIAMOND, ANNIHILATOR, and RUSH, the quartet has developed a sound characterized by complex arrangements, unconventional song structures, soaring vocals, and relentless musicianship.
Following their acclaimed debut, Illusions In Infinite Void (2015), and sophomore effort, Beyond Celestial Echoes (2018), the band now returns after eight years with a new collection of material that further explores their musical and conceptual ambitions.
Ark Of Cosmic Resonance continues the band’s fascination with science fiction and cosmic mythology, expanding upon a larger narrative explored in their concept novella, Origins Of UL.
SACRAL RAGE explores new creative dimensions
Speaking about the conceptual inspiration behind the upcoming album, vocalist Dimitris K., assuming the persona of UL, shares:
“We wore a thousand faces. We spoke through a thousand voices. We became eternity, and we became the void itself. We wandered beyond the boundaries of creation, lost ourselves in countless forms and realities, and embraced the unknown to bring ‘Ark of Cosmic Resonance’ into existence. This is not merely our creation. It is everything we have been, everything we have become, and everything that lies beyond. Be one with us. Be one with the transmission.”
Guitarist Marios P. also reflects on the personal and creative challenges that shaped the record:
“‘Ark of Cosmic Resonance’ is the result of intense band turbulence, personal struggles and life changes, as well as our enduring vision of pushing things further into realms we’ve never been before. Thanks for sticking with us, and we hope this record will resonate with each one of you.”
