Melodic metallers ARCHON ANGEL, featuring former SAVATAGE vocalist Zak Stevens and guitarist, songwriter, and producer Aldo Lonobile, have announced their third studio album, Beyond The Grave, scheduled for release on December 11, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.
To accompany the announcement, the band has unveiled the album’s title track, “Beyond The Grave,” along with an official lyric video, offering fans their first glimpse into the group’s latest musical chapter.
The upcoming record marks another milestone in the collaboration between Stevens and Lonobile, whose shared appreciation for the legacy of SAVATAGE originally brought the project together.
Since its formation, ARCHON ANGEL has developed a distinctive identity within melodic metal, combining powerful vocals, intricate guitar arrangements, cinematic atmospheres, and emotionally driven songwriting.
With Beyond The Grave, the band aims to expand that musical foundation while exploring new creative directions.
Zak Stevens discusses the new album
Speaking about the upcoming release, Zak Stevens expressed his enthusiasm for the band’s latest material and the creative progress achieved during the recording process.
“I’m very excited to announce the release of our third ARCHON ANGEL album, ‘Beyond The Grave’! I thoroughly enjoyed working on this record. I think it’s our strongest effort to date.”
Stevens also highlighted the band’s willingness to experiment with different musical influences and songwriting approaches.
“As far as the music goes, we’ve ventured into areas and inspirations that we haven’t previously explored. That’s a goal with every ARCHON ANGEL record, but we were able to explore a lot more angles during the writing of this one.”
He continued:
“All of the guys in the band and the entire writing team did a great job. We’re all excited to get this album out there for everyone to check out.”
A new chapter for ARCHON ANGEL
Built around the unmistakable voice of Zak Stevens and Aldo Lonobile’s songwriting and production, Beyond The Grave promises a collection of eleven tracks that balance melodic accessibility with the dramatic intensity associated with classic heavy and progressive metal.
The album features carefully constructed arrangements, expressive guitar performances, orchestral textures, and memorable melodies, providing a musical foundation for Stevens’ powerful vocal delivery.
While ARCHON ANGEL’s origins are closely connected to the musical heritage of SAVATAGE, the project has continued to establish its own creative direction with each release.
The new material reflects the band’s growing confidence as a songwriting unit, incorporating fresh influences while maintaining the melodic and theatrical qualities that have defined its sound.
