Israeli progressive symphonic metal band Scardust has released the visualizer for their single Long Forgotten Song from their third studio album, Souls, out now via Frontiers Music Srl. The visualizer, directed by Lahav Levi, is available on YouTube.
The band describes the track as “a quiet symphony of memories” about lingering people and moments, with Noa Gruman’s versatile vocals—ranging from operatic to guttural—complemented by the Hellscore choir and intricate instrumentation from Gal Gabriel Israel (guitar), Aaron Friedland (keyboards), Orr Didi (bass), and Yoav Weinberg (drums).
Souls explores themes of memory, loss, and connection, featuring guest artists like Ross Jennings (Haken) and Ally Storch (Subway to Sally), as well as the TLV Orchestra. The album, mixed by Yonatan Kossov and mastered by Jens Bogren, has been hailed by Ever Metal as a “near perfect” metal opera. To celebrate the release, Scardust hosts an interactive livestream party on July 18, 2025, at 6:30 pm BST with Ross Jennings and guests, featuring a Q&A and acoustic performance, accessible via scardust.co/livestream.
