Northeastern U.S. melodic/progressive metal band Severed Angel has dropped the official video for “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing,” a standout track from their third album, When Eternity Ends, released March 28 via No Life ‘Til Metal Records. Filmed by Spiro Antonopoulos, the clip showcases the band’s dynamic blend of soaring melodies and intricate riffs—watch it now.

Hailing from New York and Pennsylvania, Severed Angel—vocalist/guitarist Alex Repetti, guitarist Lou Mavs, bassist George Dimitri, keyboardist Marc Muchnik, and drummer Wayne Noon—deliver a 10-track epic that’s earning raves: “A magnificent melodic metal march” (Metal Gods TV, 10/10) and “masterful musicianship” (Metalunderground.at, 4/5).

Mixed by Repetti, mastered by Joel Wanasek, and featuring artwork by Aleh Zielankievi, the album includes guest vocals by Gail Bourque on “The Fall of Rain.”

Stream or grab the jewel case CD with a 12-page lyric booklet at severedangel.bandcamp.com, distrokid.com, or roxxrecords.com.

“We never repeat ourselves,” says Mavs. “This is our evolution—melodic, heavy, and cinematic.” With influences like Blind Guardian, Dream Theater, and Iron Maiden, tracks like “Through the Eyes of Time” and “Cry Out to the World” (both with videos out) cement their rising status after Skyward hit Top 10 on Metal Contraband.
