Brutal death metallers STABBING have released the official video for “Eon of Obscenity”, the title track from their upcoming album set for January 30, 2026 through Century Media Records. The new single arrives with a violent surge of speed, precision, and atmosphere, signaling a major step forward for the Houston extremists.
A Dark and Relentless Vision
Vocalist Bridget Lynch explains that the song centers on the idea of someone hiding homicidal urges for years before suddenly snapping. The moment they embrace their sickness, they abandon morality completely. The band matches that theme with savage riffs, rapid fire drumming, and vocal performances that blur the line between human and monstrous.
The album was recorded at Southwing Audio in Houston with engineer Ben Gott. Mixing and mastering were handled by Chris Kritikos, keeping the sound raw, honest, and intensely heavy without unnecessary effects.
A Brutal Tracklist Built for Impact
The eleven track album erupts with “Rotting Eternal” and moves straight into the blistering violence of “Inhuman Torture Chamber”, “Masticate the Subdued”, and the title track. Guest vocals from Ricky Myers of Suffocation appear on “Nauseating Composition”, adding even more force to an already crushing release.
A New Force in Modern Death Metal
Since forming in 2021, STABBING have gained a reputation for pushing brutality to new extremes while drawing influence from classic 1990s and early 2000s brutal death metal. Their early releases and relentless touring, including appearances at Maryland Deathfest and Milwaukee Metalfest, quickly set them apart. A pivotal moment came when Lynch filled in for Suffocation’s vocalist on tour, solidifying the band’s rising profile and eventually leading to their signing with Century Media.
With “Eon of Obscenity”, STABBING deliver the most refined and punishing version of their sound to date. The album represents a new era for the band and stands as one of the most uncompromising brutal death metal statements of the coming year.
