British metal band Sylosis has premiered the official music video for their track “Soured Ground”, via Nuclear Blast Records. The song is from their recent EP The Path, released in late 2024. Directed by an uncredited filmmaker, the video captures the song’s vitriolic energy, aligning with fan feedback that highlighted it as a standout track.
The band—comprising Ali Richardson (drums), Ben Mclusky (guitars), Conor Marshall (bass), and Josh Middleton (vocals/guitars)—also announced a limited vinyl run of The Path EP, available in a “coke bottle green” variant with custom etching. They stated, “Following the success of The Path, it was clear that we had to immortalise these songs on some form of physical media… We have a very limited pressing of the EP… The finished product is stunning.” Signed copies are available on their webstore and during their European tour this month, purchasable at sylosis.bfan.link/the-path.
Sylosis, formed in Reading, England, in 2000, is known for blending thrash, death, and progressive metal. They’ll support the release with a busy summer, playing major European festivals like Hellfest in Clisson, France, on June 22, and Download Festival in Donnington, England, on June 14, alongside headline shows and dates with labelmates In Flames, including a stop in Stockholm, Sweden, on June 10.
