Progressive rock/metal band Syrinx, formed in 2014 in Vancouver, Canada, announces their sophomore album Time Out of Place, set for release on September 9, 2025, via Ocula Records. The first single, A Waking Dream, premiered its music video on July 31, 2025, with the track streaming at priestsyrinx.bandcamp.com.
Pre-orders for limited blue/purple vinyl (475 units) and CD (200 units) are available at linktr.ee/SYRINXOFFICIAL. Recorded analog by Felix Fung at Little Red Sounds, mixed by Nathan Jackson at MDC Studios, and mastered by Brock McFarlane at CPS Mastering, the album features artwork by Steve at Chronic Creative. The lineup includes Graham McGee (guitars, synths, backing vocals), JP Abboud (vocals), Seth Lyon (drums, percussion), Bobby Shock (bass, synths), and Lady Chanelle (supporting vocals).
