Vancouver-based progressive rock/metal band Syrinx has released the official video for 1875, the second single from their forthcoming album Time Out of Place, due out September 9th via Ocula Records.
Watch the video here:
Dark and prophetic in tone, 1875 confronts false enlightenment, corruption, and the illusion of control in a world teetering on decline. The track continues Syrinx’s tradition of fusing cerebral storytelling with heavy moods and expansive progressive soundscapes.
Recorded entirely on analog gear without digital or AI manipulation, Time Out of Place is described as a modern-day rock opera that bridges classic prog influences with the power of heavy metal. The record will be available in limited physical editions: 475 blue/purple vinyl LPs and 200 CDs, alongside digital formats.
“On Time Out of Place, we wanted to create something timeless and human — something that acknowledges decay but also searches for meaning in the chaos” says guitarist/producer Graham McGee.
