Visionary metal artist Today Is The Day will return this fall with their fourteenth studio album Never Give In, due October 3rd, 2025 via SuperNova Records. The announcement arrives alongside the release of the record’s title track and its hallucinogenic music video, now streaming on YouTube and Bandcamp.

Marking the band’s first new music since 2020’s No Good To Anyone, Never Give In launches the first chapter of a two-part concept album born from founder Steve Austin’s experiences during the pandemic and his searing critique of political, social, and personal turmoil. The record merges multiple eras of TODAY IS THE DAY’s sound, from crushing metallic aggression to cinematic and psychedelic atmospheres, across ten dystopian and emotionally charged tracks.

Never Give In is part one of a two-part sonic story,” Austin explains. “It is an awakening, a warning about corruption, manipulation, and the fight to hold on to who you are in a world trying to strip that away.”

The album features contributions from touring members Colin Frecknall (drums) and Tom Jack (bass) with guest appearances by David Brenner (Gridfailure), Mac Gollehon (David Bowie, Onyx, Blondie), and Aaron Polk. Austin handled recording, mixing, mastering, artwork, and video production at his Austin Enterprise Recording & Mastering in Maine.

Tracklist:

  1. Divide And Conquer
  2. I Got Nothin’
  3. Intentional Psychological Warfare
  4. Never Give In
  5. Secret Police
  6. Psychic Wound
  7. The Choice Is Yours

  9. The Cleansing

Never Give In will be available on LP, CD, and digital formats. Preorders are live via SuperNova Records and Bandcamp.

Following a recent U.S. run with Buñuel and Murderous Again, Today Is The Day is preparing a headlining fall tour to support the album. The second chapter of the project will arrive in the first half of 2026.
