Filmed by Mike Goncalves, Matt Priso, Sera Timms, and Drew Murphy, the video for “Nightland” captures the song’s spectral pull, a descent through shadow and dream, where memory and mortality entwine.
Frontman Mike Hill comments:
“‘Nightland’ is the spiritual center of ‘Feral Darkness,’ expressing the dark heart of the record.”
With Feral Darkness, TOMBS enters a bold new phase. The record marks both a return and a reinvention, merging their blackened metal foundation with the gothic melancholy and death rock atmosphere that have always haunted their edges. The result is the band’s most shadowed and cinematic release to date.
Available now through Bandcamp and the Redefining Darkness webstore, Feral Darkness delivers ten tracks of bleak beauty and feral power.

Since forming in 2007, TOMBS have carved their own dark path through the underground, merging post-punk minimalism, sludge aggression, and blackened fury. Across each release, they’ve evolved into one of America’s most distinctive extreme acts, balancing ferocity with introspection and unearthing beauty from decay.
