Texas death metal band Tribal Gaze will release their second full-length album, Inveighing Brilliance, on October 17, 2025, marking their first release with Nuclear Blast Records. The record follows their acclaimed 2022 debut The Nine Choirs and delivers a punishing blend of old-school death metal intensity with modern precision.
The band has released the lead single “Beyond Recognition”, accompanied by a music video directed by David Brodsky (Cattle Decapitation, Cannibal Corpse). Guitarist Quintin Stauts describes the track as a reflection of the band’s mindset:
“Pissed during the fast parts, pissed during the slow parts. We’re just trying to add something of value to the death metal world—songs with memorable parts you want to rewind.”
Inveighing Brilliance explores themes of beauty and brutality in both nature and humanity, with tracks like “To the Spoils of Faith” confronting blind belief and “The Irreversible Sequence” channeling apocalyptic dread. The album’s cover art, created by Dom Pabon (Final Resting Place), mirrors its lyrical duality—blending visions of decay, ruin, and fractured reality.
