Texas death metallers TRIBAL GAZE have unleashed their sophomore album Inveighing Brilliance today via Nuclear Blast Records. Building on the seismic impact of their debut.
Since emerging only four years ago, TRIBAL GAZE have carved out a reputation for their no-compromise fusion of old-school death metal. On Inveighing Brilliance, the quintet raises the stakes, crafting an album that’s equally crushing and cathartic, with highlights including “To The Spoils of Faith” and “Beyond Recognition”.
Guitarist Quintin Stauts reflects on the release:
“This album represents a different era for us. The world really seems like a different place than when the last record came out. This one focuses less on creative fictional storytelling and more on truly feeling violent. We felt it was appropriate to take a more radical approach to riff and lyric writing.”
Alongside the album drop, TRIBAL GAZE have unveiled a brand-new visualizer for one of the record’s heaviest tracks, “The Irreversible Sequence.”

On the song, Stauts adds:
“I probably listen to this one the most because it’s short and just has parts that make me rewind it — even though it’s our song and we’ve heard it a million times. The heavy parts are the perfect representation of the guitar tone our producer Taylor Young helped us achieve.”
TRIBAL GAZE will hit the road this fall on a massive North American tour, joining CATTLE DECAPITATION, ABORTED, and FROZEN SOUL.
