Faroe Islands folk/viking metal metallers Týr have unveiled their new single The Rune, a sweeping epic steeped in Norse history, defiance, and the spirit of their homeland. The track blends the band’s signature soaring melodies and intricate guitar work with a lyrical narrative of resistance, heritage, and the unyielding will to protect one’s kin and land.
The Rune arrives ahead of the band’s upcoming 2025 album, continuing TÝR’s tradition of fusing Nordic mythology and history.
