Vader Unleashes New EP Humanihility with Three Crushing Tracks

Polish death metal legends Vader announced their brand-new EP, “Humanihility”, today, April 2, 2025, via a bilingual statement on their social media, thrilling fans with the promise of fresh material. The EP, recorded in November 2024 at Grindstone Studio in the UK with producer Scott Atkins, features three new tracks: “Genocide Designed,” “Rampage,” and “Unbending.” Each song was composed by a different band member, including Maurycy “Mauser” Stefanowicz, who rejoined the lineup after his tenure from 1997 to 2008. The EP, set for release soon through Nuclear Blast, boasts cover art by Brazilian artist Marcelo Vasco, known for his work with Slayer and Dimmu Borgir.

Formed in 1983 in Olsztyn, Poland, Vader—Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek (vocals, guitar), Marek “Spider” Pająk (guitar), Michał Andrzejczyk (drums), and Joakim Antman (bass)—has been a cornerstone of death metal, with classics like Black to the Blind (1997) and Litany (2000). Humanihility marks their first new music since 2020’s Solitude in Madness, and the first with Andrzejczyk on drums. The band’s statement highlights their collaborative approach, with Mauser’s return adding a layer of history to the EP’s creation. More details on the release are expected in the coming weeks—stream the tracks as they drop and prepare for Vader’s unrelenting intensity.
