Metal Blade Records have officially welcomed VOID to their legendary roster. The Lafayette, Louisiana thrash outfit has signed with the iconic label and marked the occasion with a limited-edition “Signed In Blood” merch drop, each order including a signed 8×10 print while supplies last.
VOID comment on the signing:
“Metal Blade has been a cornerstone for heavy metal for decades, so joining the roster is an absolute honor and we feel right at home. We are sharpening the fangs for our most vicious material yet. It’s about to get bloody.”
Forged in 2019 by vocalist Jackson Davenport, VOID deliver a haunted and a blend of thrash and heavy metal, pairing classic aggression with eerie atmosphere and cinematic storytelling. Their debut album Horrors Of Reality arrived in early 2023, introducing their uncompromising sound.
That rise continued with their signing to Shadow Kingdom Records in summer 2024 and the release of their ambitious concept album Forbidden Morals, centered on a lost traveler’s descent into the castle of Vlad The Impaler. Dark, theatrical, and technically ferocious, the album marked a major turning point for the band, opening doors to larger tours and wider recognition.
Since then, VOID have shared stages with thrash legends including Dark Angel, Forbidden, Sacred Reich, and Exhorder, while appearing at festivals such as Hell’s Heroes, Blades Of Steel, and Keep It True. With a locked-in lineup and a sound balancing precision, menace, and narrative depth, VOID now stand poised to deliver their most brutal material yet under the Metal Blade banner.
