Florida metalcore band WAGE WAR have announced their new album, Landfall, set for digital release on October 9 via Fearless Records. The band has also unleashed the album’s crushing title track alongside a new visualizer.

Following the release of their It Calls Me By Name EP earlier this year, WAGE WAR — Briton Bond (lead vocals), Cody Quistad (rhythm guitar, clean vocals), Seth Blake (lead guitar), Chris Gaylord (bass), and Stephen Kluesener (drums) — continue their relentless 2026 with a full-length that pushes both sides of their sound to new extremes.
Opening with the ominous sound of an emergency broadcast alarm, “Landfall” quickly erupts into a massive, groove-driven riff. Bond’s vicious screams collide with Quistad’s melodic vocals as the band moves between heaviness and a somber chorus.
The song draws directly from WAGE WAR’s Florida roots, using the threat and destructive force of a hurricane as a metaphor for confronting circumstances completely beyond one’s control.
“‘Landfall’ is a song about imminent danger and the realization that we aren’t in control,” the band explains. “Referencing our Florida roots, the hurricane imagery became a way of talking about that feeling of being completely at the mercy of something bigger than yourself. Musically, we wanted the verses to feel heavy and threatening, with the chorus being somber and inevitable.”

WAGE WAR will support Landfall with an extensive U.S. headline run this fall. The Emergency Broadcast Tour features We Came As Romans, Varials, and Cane Hill and kicks off October 25 in San Antonio, Texas, before wrapping up November 27 with a hometown-state finale at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida.
