Tennessee deathcore band WHITECHAPEL have released a new music video for “Bedlam,” a track from their latest studio album, Hymns In Dissonance, released in 2025 through Metal Blade Records.

The video arrives ahead of the band’s 20th anniversary North American headlining tour, which begins November 11, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. The upcoming performances will feature material spanning WHITECHAPEL‘s entire discography, with support from CHELSEA GRIN, THE ACACIA STRAIN, and NETHERWALKER.

“Bedlam” revisits the storyline of This Is Exile

The new video continues the dark narrative developed throughout Hymns In Dissonance, connecting the album’s fictional storyline to characters introduced on the band’s 2008 release, This Is Exile.

According to vocalist Phil Bozeman, “Bedlam” focuses on Daemon, also known as Craig, the brother of a cult leader whose jealousy drives him toward increasingly disturbing actions.

Bozeman explained:

“In the album This Is Exile, there was a character ‘Daemon’ [AKA Craig] who is the brother of the cult leader. This song is him admitting his jealousy towards him and defiling his rotting corpse.”

The story is presented from the perspectives of both brothers. While Craig acts upon his resentment, his deceased sibling remains conscious within his own body, unable to move or escape.

Bozeman further explained that the song’s title reflects the psychological and physical turmoil depicted in the narrative.

“‘Bedlam’ is chaos, confusion, and turmoil which describes this scene.”

The video follows previously released visual material from Hymns In Dissonance, including “Prisoner 666,” “A Visceral Retch,” “Hate Cult Ritual,” “Nothing Is Coming For Any Of Us,” and the album’s title track.

Celebrating 20 years of WHITECHAPEL

WHITECHAPEL will mark their 20th anniversary with a North American headlining tour presented by Live Nation.

The tour begins November 11 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta and concludes December 19 at The Mill & Mine in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Rather than focusing exclusively on their latest album, the band will perform songs from across their catalog, reflecting two decades of recordings and musical development.

Support will come from CHELSEA GRIN, THE ACACIA STRAIN, and NETHERWALKER, with CARCOSA appearing on the Canadian dates in Montreal and Toronto. NETHERWALKER will not perform at those two shows.

The itinerary includes stops in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, Colorado, California, Texas, and several other states, as well as performances in Canada.

Hymns In Dissonance continues the band’s darker direction

Released in spring 2025 through Metal Blade Records, Hymns In Dissonance marked another chapter in WHITECHAPEL‘s development, emphasizing heavier arrangements and returning to themes associated with their earlier material.

The album debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Current Hard Rock Albums chart, No. 3 on the Independent Label Current Albums chart, No. 4 on the Current Rock Albums chart, and No. 7 on the Digital Albums chart.

The record followed a period of musical experimentation across the band’s previous releases, while incorporating elements of the aggressive deathcore sound established during their early years.
