German heavy metal band ACCEPT mark an incredible milestone in 2026, celebrating 50 years of pure, unrelenting metal with the release of their new album, Teutonic Titans 1976–2026. The landmark record arrives September 4, 2026 via Napalm Records and features an astonishing lineup of 50 guest musicians across 19 reimagined classics from the band’s legendary catalog.
Led by founding guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the album serves as both a tribute to ACCEPT’s enduring legacy and a celebration of the global metal community they helped shape. With contributions from some of the genre’s biggest names, Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 stands as the band’s most ambitious and star-studded release to date.
“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs,” says Hoffmann. “I am honored and proud to share this very special record with the world.”
The album revisits material spanning from I’m a Rebel (1980) through Eat the Heat (1989), reimagined with fresh energy while preserving the signature power of ACCEPT’s sound. Frontman Mark Tornillo returns alongside Hoffmann, joined by a rotating cast of elite musicians that ensures no two tracks sound alike.
Highlights include Tobias Forge delivering a commanding take on “Save Us”, while “Fast as a Shark” sees a blistering collaboration between Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee. Meanwhile, “Balls to the Wall” features the unmistakable voice of Rob Halford alongside guitar work from Matthias Jabs.
Additional guests include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis, among many others.
The album also includes a re-recorded version of “Hellhammer”, performed by ACCEPT’s current lineup alongside Jason McMaster.
