Swedish melodic death metal pioneers At The Gates have released their new studio album The Ghost of a Future Dead worldwide today (April 24) via Century Media Records.
The follow-up to The Nightmare of Being (2021), this new record stands as a powerful and emotional tribute to frontman Tomas Lindberg, who tragically passed away in September 2025.

The band has also unveiled a haunting new video for “In Dark Distortion”, created by longtime collaborator Costin Chioreanu. The clip is part of a larger conceptual visual project that will expand across the full album.
