Texas death metallers Frozen Soul have dropped a new single and video, “DEATHWEAVER”, offering the final preview of their upcoming album No Place Of Warmth, due out May 8 via Century Media Records.

Clocking in at four minutes of relentless aggression, “DEATHWEAVER” leans heavily into the band’s blend of old-school death metal and hardcore-infused intensity, anchored by the commanding presence of vocalist Chad Green.
Green explains the track’s meaning:
“‘DEATHWEAVER’ is about how slowly, in time, you lose pieces of yourself and gain new perspectives… weaving your memories of life’s experiences to form who you are, and the cruel nature of life—the cycle of death—and how hard it is to stay who you are.”
The accompanying video pulls from a wide range of influences, including anime and classic horror, crafting a dark narrative centered around a centuries-old figure obsessed with creating the perfect instrument using the remains of her victims.
No Place Of Warmth marks the band’s third full-length and sees Frozen Soul refining their sound into a more focused and punishing attack, balancing brutality with memorable hooks. The album also features guest appearances from Gerard Way, Robb Flynn, and Devin Swank.
Produced by Josh Schroeder, the record continues the band’s rapid ascent within the modern death metal scene, following a string of successful releases and high-profile tours.
In support of the album, Frozen Soul kick off a U.S. tour tonight alongside Avatar and Fleshgod Apocalypse, with the run extending through May 20.
Additionally, the band has partnered with Metal Injection and Wizard of Barge for a special Magic: The Gathering giveaway, featuring a rare 1995 Ice Age booster box and exclusive merchandise.
