ACCEPT have released a newly re-recorded version of their legendary anthem “Balls to the Wall”, featuring Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford and Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs. The track serves as the second single from the band’s upcoming 50th anniversary album, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, due out September 4 via Napalm Records.
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Zeuss, Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 celebrates five decades of ACCEPT by revisiting 19 classic songs with more than 50 guest musicians from across the heavy metal world. The album features newly recorded versions of songs spanning the band’s early catalog, with each track showcasing a unique lineup of legendary performers alongside ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffmann and vocalist Mark Tornillo.
Discussing “Balls to the Wall,” Wolf Hoffmann said that once Rob Halford agreed to participate, the song was the obvious choice. Hoffmann performed all rhythm guitars on the track, while Matthias Jabs contributed the guitar solo, joined by bassist Rex Brown and drummer Jason Bowld.
Beyond Halford and Jabs, the album features an impressive roster of guest artists, including Tobias Forge, Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Mikkey Dee, Billy Corgan, David Ellefson, Sebastian Bach, Gary Holt, Phil Demmel, Chuck Billy, Joe Lynn Turner, Jeff Scott Soto, John Bush, Frank Bello, John Norum, and Bumblefoot.
Wolf Hoffmann described the project as the perfect way to commemorate the band’s milestone anniversary.
“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the world.”
The collection also includes a newly recorded version of “Hellhammer” featuring ACCEPT’s current lineup—Wolf Hoffmann, Mark Tornillo, Philip Shouse, Martin Motnik, and Christopher Williams—alongside guest vocalist Jason McMaster.
Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 arrives September 4 in multiple vinyl, CD, deluxe box set, and digital editions. In support of the release, ACCEPT will perform a series of European festival appearances and headline dates throughout the remainder of 2026.
