German epic power metallers Aeon Gods have unveiled the official lyric video for “Birth Of Light”, the first single taken from their upcoming album Reborn To Light, set for release on February 20 via Scarlet Records.

“Birth Of Light” ignites a new era for Aeon Gods, drawing inspiration from the ancient Egyptian creation myth of Hermopolis. At the dawn of existence, when all lay submerged within the silent waters of Nun, the cosmic egg emerged, guarded by the primordial Ogdoad. From this sacred vessel rose the first radiance: the newborn sun-god Re, whose light shattered eternal darkness and set creation in motion.
With Reborn To Light, Aeon Gods enter the luminous and shadowed realm of ancient Egypt, expanding their myth-driven metal universe with cinematic scope and dramatic depth. The album blends powerful power metal riffing with rich orchestral textures, delivering fast and commanding anthems, thunderous battle hymns, dark atmospheric passages, symphonic grandeur, and moments of calm emotional reflection.
Conceptually, the album follows the nightly descent of the sun-god Re into the underworld. Alongside this central solar cycle, Reborn To Light weaves in other foundational Egyptian myths, broadening the narrative and strengthening its mythological arc. The result is a sweeping journey through darkness, rebirth, and divine triumph, elevating Aeon Gods’ signature mix of heavy riffs, grand choirs, and immersive atmosphere.
Reborn To Light is the band’s second full-length album and further solidifies Aeon Gods’ unique identity, marked by powerful storytelling and striking visual personas. The album was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio (Wind Rose, Vision Divine, Twilight Force), with cover artwork created by Peter Sallai (Sabaton, Feuerschwanz, Hammer King, Fellowship). The lyric video for “Birth Of Light” was produced by Wanderley Perna.
Aeon Gods will support Victorius on their “Tour Of The Strong” in April and May 2026, with dates across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
