Polish heavy metallers AQUILLA have released the official video for Battalion 31, taken from their brand-new album Sentinels of New Dawn, out October 31st via High Roller Records.

Formed in Warsaw in 2015, Aquilla have been carving out their unique brand of sci-fi-infused heavy metal, drawing inspiration from the NWOBHM and classic speed metal, as well as cinematic masterpieces like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Dune, Blade Runner and Alien.
Following their 2022 debut Mankind’s Odyssey, the new record Sentinels of New Dawn takes their concept even further. The album explores mankind’s survival on the distant planet Yvad’déra, pitting space pirates, mercenaries, and technological overlords against each other in an epic struggle.
Drummer Pete Slammer reflects on the creative leap between albums:
“The real change began once we started composing songs for Sentinels Of New Dawn. The new compositions lean a bit more towards old-school classics while still being both forceful and epic.”
Sentinels of New Dawn is available now on LP, CD, and cassette through High Roller Records.
