Atreyu return with their crushing new single “Children Of Light”, featuring metal legend Max Cavalera. The track blends the band’s signature melodic aggression with a raw, tribal energy inspired by classic Sepultura, making it one of their most intense tracks to date.
On the collaboration, the band shares:
“‘Children of Light’ was created with a primal spirit in mind. A ‘festival’ song… We’re honored to share this song with a legend.”
A Heavier, More Adventurous Era
With their tenth studio album, The End is Not the End, Atreyu push further into uncharted territory while reconnecting with the essence that made them stand out.
Frontman Brandon Saller explains the mindset:
“We didn’t sound like anyone else… we carved our own path.”
The album was shaped across contrasting environments, from the vibrant chaos of Tokyo to the isolation of San Juan Island, fueling both experimentation and heaviness. Produced by Matt Pauling, the record promises a dynamic mix of melody, atmosphere, and metallic intensity.
