ATREYU Unleash New Single “Ego Death”

Southern California metal band ATREYU have returned with a powerful new single, “Ego Death”, out now via Spinefarm. The track follows the momentum of recent release “Dead” and finds the band leaning into both their heaviest instincts and their most emotionally resonant songwriting.

“Ego Death” explores the idea of shedding an old self in order to grow into something new. The band describes the track succinctly: “Sometimes a piece of you has to die in order for you to truly live. ‘Ego Death’ is peace.” That balance of aggression and catharsis has long been a hallmark of ATREYU’s sound, and the new single delivers both with conviction.
