German guitar virtuoso Axel Rudi Pell has unveiled the new single “Guillotine Walk”, offering fans another glimpse into his forthcoming studio album Ghost Town, set for release on March 20 via Steamhammer.
Driven by a melancholic atmosphere that gradually builds into a powerful surge of classic heavy metal energy, “Guillotine Walk” captures the grim final moments of a condemned man walking toward the scaffold. The track blends somber melodic passages with Pell’s unmistakable guitar work, delivering a song that is both dramatic and forceful, perfectly suited as the album’s opening statement.
Pell himself describes the song as one of his personal highlights from the upcoming record, noting that the music reflects “the last thoughts of a condemned man… musically melancholic yet driving and full of power.”
