Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH have unveiled a striking new music video for “Nomen Barbarvm”, a standout track from their most recent and critically acclaimed album, The Shit Ov God.

Directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz, the apocalyptic video is a cinematic descent into BEHEMOTH’s signature world of blasphemy, occult symbolism, and ritualistic defiance. Featuring dramatic lighting, elaborate costuming, and meticulously staged visuals, the clip deliberately subverts religious iconography while reinforcing the band’s long-standing artistic ethos: confrontation through extreme art. The result is a dark, epic narrative that feels both timeless and violently contemporary.
Frontman Nergal comments:
“‘I create as I speak.’ Isn’t that, in essence, Crowley’s ‘Do what thou wilt’ — just cast in slightly different words? This idea became the lyrical leitmotif of ‘Nomen Barbarvm,’ arguably one of the most melodic, yet also deeply groove-driven tracks Behemoth have ever committed to tape. In just a moment, we’ll be putting it to the test live on our upcoming tour.
What you’re about to see is a music video we’re immensely proud of, created in collaboration with Group 13 — uncompromising quality and an artistic vision that doesn’t compromise.”
Released earlier this year, The Shit Ov God further cements BEHEMOTH’s status as one of extreme metal’s most uncompromising forces, balancing massive grooves, ritualistic atmosphere, and provocative lyrical themes. The album artwork was created by Bartek Rogalewicz (LODGE.BLACK).
