East Coast brutal death metal band Bludgeoned by Deformity has made their debut EP, Epoch of Immorality, available for streaming in its entirety, ahead of its official release tomorrow, June 6, via Iron Fortress Records. The EP, which unites members from Columbus, Baltimore, and Atlanta—including vocalist Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg, Tomb Sentinel), bassist Ethan Buttery (Jivebomb, Sinister Feeling), drummer Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Misery Index), and guitarists Bradon Studebaker (Immortal Torment, ex-Rejoice) and Andre Pickens (Tsuris)—delivers a ferocious homage to mid-1990s/early-2000s East Coast death metal, drawing from bands like Pyrexia and Internal Bleeding. Formed in 2024 by Swank and Studebaker, the band recorded the EP in August 2024 after quickly assembling their lineup.

Epoch of Immorality features five tracks: “Invocation of Suffering,” “Immorality,” “Intestinal Suspension,” “False Deliverance” (with a guest guitar solo by Pyrexia’s Chris Basile), and “Extirpated Human Existence” (featuring vocals by Don Campan of Waking the Cadaver). The EP was recorded at Developing Nations (drums, guitars) by Kevin Bernsten, Daily Grind Productions (vocals) by Josh Nunn, and self-recorded (bass) by Studebaker, with mixing by Andrew Solis at Dead Stare Audio and mastering by Nick Townsend. The artwork is by Jamie Rosier, with photos by Eight Gregorio and logo/layout by Studebaker. Stream the EP on YouTube at the provided link, with physical pre-orders (CD, cassette) and digital pre-saves available at Iron Fortress Records’ website and Bandcamp. Bludgeoned by Deformity plans a live debut this summer, with more updates expected soon.
