BLUE MEDUSA, the band led by metal vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, have unveiled their new single “Crocodile,” available today across all digital platforms. The track arrives alongside an official music video and follows previously released singles “Checkmate” and “Flying Monkey.”

Dark, tense and deliberately unsettling, “Crocodile” explores the instinctive sensation that danger is approaching even when its source remains hidden — the feeling that something threatening may be lurking just beneath an otherwise familiar or seemingly safe surface.
“‘Crocodile’ speaks of that feeling of being watched… that instinctive fear when you know danger is lurking nearby, even without seeing it,” White-Gluz explains. “The feeling that something is hiding just beneath the surface of what seems safe or familiar. It is in this tension, between what we perceive and what we sense, that the song lives.”
The accompanying video continues White-Gluz’s visual collaboration with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, with the pair once again co-directing. Significantly, the clip also captures BLUE MEDUSA performing together as a full band for the first time.
The video features White-Gluz playing a one-of-a-kind guitar custom-built by Nik Huber Guitars as part of a collaboration involving Sea Shepherd, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and BLUE MEDUSA. The instrument is equipped with Doyle-signed Von Frankenstein Monster Gear pickups and strings and has been autographed by both artists. It will ultimately be auctioned to raise funds for Sea Shepherd’s marine conservation efforts.
Beatriz Mariano of Okkultist also contributes to the project, bringing additional visuals and vocals to “Crocodile.”
The single arrives as BLUE MEDUSA prepare to make their first-ever festival appearances. The band will take the stage at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 18 before appearing at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, on October 2.
Those performances will serve as the beginning of BLUE MEDUSA’s live chapter ahead of a larger European presence in 2027, with appearances already confirmed at Wacken Open Air, Leyendas Del Rock and Summer Breeze Open Air.

Outside of BLUE MEDUSA, White-Gluz has maintained a packed schedule throughout 2026. Her recent appearances have included an acoustic performance with Savage Lands at Hellfest and a surprise performance of “Kaiowas” with Sepultura, as well as appearances across three stages at Wacken Open Air.
She also collaborated with composer Bear McCreary on “Our Kingdom,” Wacken’s official anthem, joined DragonForce for performances at Sonic Temple and Welcome To Rockville, and made several surprise appearances with Ice Nine Kills during the band’s European run.
BLUE MEDUSA will follow their upcoming U.S. festival appearances with their European arrival in 2027, with additional announcements expected.
