Since the release of her debut album, Fandabidozi, BOBBIE DAZZLE — the flamboyant alter ego of Siân Greenaway — has quickly carved out her own space within the UK glam rock scene. Along the way, she has shared stages with Alice Cooper, Sweet, Lita Ford, and Thunder’s Luke Morley, as well as appearing at London’s Hyde Park alongside Jeff Lynne’s ELO.
Now, BOBBIE DAZZLE channels those experiences into Star Power, an eleven-track collection that expands upon the colorful sonic and visual world established on Fandabidozi while adding an extra dose of grit to the mix.
The majority of Star Power was written by Greenaway and keyboardist Chris Dando and recorded at the same studio used for her debut, maintaining a natural connection between the two records while pushing BOBBIE DAZZLE’s theatrical rock ‘n’ roll into new territory.

Star Power also features a pair of notable collaborations. Former Runaways guitarist Lita Ford delivers a guitar solo on album closer “Feel It Too,” while Pendulum’s Gareth McGrillen co-wrote and plays bass on “Snakes & Ladders,” bringing together BOBBIE DAZZLE’s glam rock universe with a musician better known for the electronic intensity of drum and bass.
Throughout the record, BOBBIE DAZZLE draws from classic rock, glam, progressive rock, and theatrical songwriting. The opening title track picks up where Fandabidozi left off, while songs including “Jack Rabbit” embrace the grander and more elaborate arrangements of her influences. Greenaway’s signature flute playing also remains an integral part of the sound.
Keyboardist Chris Dando once again plays a major role in shaping the record, including its layers of stacked vocal harmonies. Guitarist Ash Baker and bassist Leon Smith, both members of BOBBIE DAZZLE’s live band, also contribute throughout the album and its production.
At its heart, Star Power embraces the escapist spirit that has always fueled glam rock: colorful, theatrical, larger-than-life music built around the simple idea of having fun. For BOBBIE DAZZLE, it is a celebration of joy and the ability of music to provide a temporary escape from the struggles of everyday life.
