Symphonic horror metallers Carach Angren have unveiled Ik Kom Uit Het Graf (I Emerge From The Grave), the lead single from their forthcoming EP The Cult of Kariba. Marking a historic first in the band’s career, the track is written entirely in Dutch and continues the band’s long-running exploration of ghostly folklore and dark mythologies.
Ik Kom Uit Het Graf extends the sinister tale of the Lammendam mythos, recounting the resurrection of a man poisoned by Kariba the Witch. Awakened by a misguided cult’s ritual, he claws his way back from the grave to seek revenge—a spectral act centuries in the making.
The song is accompanied by a haunting official music video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zoran Bihac (known for his work with Rammstein and Lindemann), who translates the track’s menace into stark and cinematic horror imagery.

As the opening chapter of The Cult of Kariba, Ik Kom Uit Het Graf sets the stage for a five-part conceptual journey weaving together historical legend, occult ritual, and gothic terror.
