Legendary heavy metal band CIRITH UNGOL will return with their seventh full-length album, All The Shadows, due October 30, 2026 via No Remorse Records.
The Ventura, California veterans have offered the first taste of the record with its title track, “All The Shadows,” accompanied by a new lyric video.
“This song is a crushing opening to the album, forged by the Masters of the Pit!” says drummer Robert Garven.

Formed in Ventura in the early 1970s, CIRITH UNGOL developed one of heavy metal’s most distinctive sounds, beginning with the eccentric Frost And Fire and moving into the darker, heavier territory of King Of The Dead and One Foot In Hell. The band followed with Paradise Lost in 1991 before disbanding the following year.
As CIRITH UNGOL’s cult status continued to grow, the band eventually reunited in 2015 and returned to the stage. Their comeback also produced new studio material, including Forever Black and 2023’s Dark Parade. Although the group announced in 2024 that they would perform their final shows, the story wasn’t finished.
Two years later, CIRITH UNGOL are opening another chapter with All The Shadows.
According to vocalist Tim Baker, the album continues the dark narrative that has long defined the band.
“All the Shadows is the latest step along the twisted journey that defines CIRITH UNGOL. Tales of blackened hearts and broken dreams. Echoes of madness, corruption, sin, demented visions and unspeakable horror. Man’s dystopian future laid bare… The continued saga of our never-ending descent into the dark parade.”
Garven adds: “This is the band’s next chapter, describing mankind’s descent into darkness and despair! Tim Baker is the Nostradamus of our time.”
All The Shadows was recorded at The Captains Quarters in Ventura, California. Armand John Anthony engineered, mixed and mastered the album and co-produced it alongside CIRITH UNGOL, with Jarvis Leatherby serving as executive producer.
The album also continues the band’s longstanding connection with acclaimed fantasy artist Michael Whelan, who created its cover artwork.
