Polish death metal band Clairvoyance is set to release their debut full-length, Chasm Of Immurement, on July 18th through Carbonized Records. Ahead of the album’s arrival, the band has dropped their lead single, “Eternal Blaze,” now streaming across platforms.
The track’s harrowing lyrics delve into the unspoken torment of mental health struggles, painting a vivid picture of isolation, pervasive gloom, and relentless internal suffering. According to the band, “Eternal Blaze” is a raw, emotional outcry for those whose pain often goes unnoticed, wrapped in the unrelenting aggression of old-school death metal.

Recorded and engineered by guitarist Kacper Pawluk, mixed by Pawluk and Piotrek Polak, and mastered by Polak, Chasm Of Immurement boasts a crushing sound complemented by striking artwork from Paolo Girardi (Bell Witch, Black Breath) and a logo by Sarcofagore. The album features guest appearances from Derrick Vela (Tomb Mold) and Marek Drahota (Snét) on “Hymn Of The Befouled,” as well as Brenton Weir (Fessus) on “Monument To Dread.” Available on CD, LP, cassette, and digital formats, the album is a must-hear for fans of The Chasm, Abhorrence, and Krypts.

Formed in late 2019 in Warsaw by vocalist Maciej Cesarczyk and guitarist Denis Didenko, Clairvoyance emerged from a shared passion for heavy music, drawing inspiration from ‘90s Finnish and American scenes. They released a well-received three-song demo in 2020 via Caligari Records (cassette) and Behind The Mountain (7″ vinyl).
The band gained traction in Warsaw’s underground, bolstered by the addition of second guitarist Łukasz Lipski and gigs alongside Polish metal titans KAT and Vader. After Kraciuk’s departure in 2021, Kacper Pawluk joined, contributing to their 2022 EP Threshold Of Nothingness (Blood Harvest), which earned praise for its authentic death metal grit. Following a brief hiatus and lineup changes, including the addition of bassist Vlad Levchenko, Clairvoyance returned with renewed intensity, culminating in the creation of Chasm Of Immurement.
With a string of high-profile shows supporting acts like Blood Incantation and Mortiferum, Clairvoyance has solidified their place in the death metal underground. This debut LP marks a bold new chapter, amplifying their ferocity and vision.
